Follow the signs to the trail from the parking spot. After approximately 1,5 km you’ll cross a forestry road. Continue on the signed trail towards Sarvejællanjaevrie/Gåsvatnet.
Both Gåsvatnet and Gåstjønna (the smaller pond you’ll pass on your way) are excellent for troutfishing. At Gåsvatnet there’s a boat for free use for hikers. It’s labelled as ”nasjonalparkbåten” (the National Parks boat). The boat is placed in the boathouse close to the cabin. 3,2 km hike (one way) on trail.

. At Inatur you can also buy fishing licence. Free fishing for those below 20 and above 67 years at state property in Nordland!
How to get here
Parking spot: Road 76, aproximatly 8 km from E6 (follow sign towards Brønnøysund from E6).
There’s two daily connections, except Saturdays, with bus from Mosjøen and Brønnøysund.
